WEST BENGAL AUDIT AND ACCOUNTS SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos. (UR-25; SC-11; ST-03; OBC-09; OH-2)
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University or must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or must be a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA / PGDM (FINANCE) or equivalent post graduation degree in Finance under 2 (Two) years full time regular course approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years
Pay Scale: Rs.56000 – Rs.144300
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection:
The West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., (I) Objective Multiple Choice Question and (ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type) followed by Personality Test.
Candidates selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and those selected on the basis of results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.
The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centers in Kolkata and Darjeeling. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course.

Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.210 / -. Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit / Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. See officially released advertisement for more details.
